Rosie Fox is a local artist, born and raised in Sarasota, and has been professionally teaching art in the area since 2004. Her work focuses on creating art that reflects identity, belonging, relationships, land, and nature. Each piece of jewelry is meticulously handmade by Rosie using nickel, brass, copper, sterling silver, and natural elements like pieces of pinecone from her yard. The clothes she uses are sourced from thrift stores and upcycled with creative details like stitching, paint, or iron-on decals before being passed on to the next person. Rosie's artistic journey is a testament to her unique creativity and passion for sustainable art.
